Spectators: 7083 (Terracing: 5320, Seating: 1623, VIP seats: 140) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Xorxe Gracia took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Rufio Pellicer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Faro Piega came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Cuji FC's Xorxe Gracia. But to his dismay, Xorxe Gracia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Faro Piega made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvestre Cebollero in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Silvestre Cebollero made a precise shot to the right of Faro Piega. Palomo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 15th minute Silvestre Cebollero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faro Piega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Palomo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Silvestre Cebollero came free, but Faro Piega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Faro Piega made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvestre Cebollero in the 19th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Palomo FC's Arsenio Losua got a free kick in the 20th minute. When Cuji FC's Xorxe Gracia, in the 21st minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Cuji FC. In the 24th minute Xorxe Gracia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faro Piega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xorxe Gracia during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 33 minutes, Guilllermo Herrea made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Cuji FC's Sazon Usarralde tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Rufio Pellicer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sazon Usarralde read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Rufio Pellicer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sazon Usarralde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rufio Pellicer in the 41st minute of play. Faro Piega made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xorxe Gracia in the 45th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rufio Pellicer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Cuji FC's Gervasio Amocia got a free kick in the 52nd minute. 53 minutes into the match, Cuji FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rufio Pellicer came free, but Sazon Usarralde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvestre Cebollero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Faro Piega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Palomo FC booed when Cuji FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulizes Orbaneja didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silvestre Cebollero might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Faro Piega. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The Cuji FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
