Spectators: 7499 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Luciano Armiaga kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Lagunitas's zone, Primitivo Güega stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silban Baroja came out of the goal and Primitivo Güega tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 10thth minute of the game Estefan Cantu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Candelaria FC's Montel Quiles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lagunitas's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Luciano Armiaga 17 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luciano Armiaga got free with Silban Baroja in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luciano Armiaga's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Silban Baroja skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Orkatz Balaguer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Silban Baroja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Primitivo Güega fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Candelaria FC's protests and gave Primitivo Güega a yellow card for diving instead. Primitivo Güega kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Etxahun Tanasio in the 40th minute of play forced Candelaria FC's goalkeeper Montel Quiles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd match minute, Candelaria FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frascuelo Pastrana to maneuver through the defense. Luciano Armiaga who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 45thth minute tested the skills of Silban Baroja when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 49 played minutes Candelaria FC got a freekick which was hit by Montrelle Infiesto. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Estefan Cantu was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Estefan Cantu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luciano Armiaga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silban Baroja having to make a save. Segio Cedron hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Silban Baroja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Armiaga in the 60th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Luciano Armiaga made a precise shot to the right of Silban Baroja. Lagunitas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 74 minutes into the game, Luciano Armiaga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Silban Baroja was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Silban Baroja stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luciano Armiaga's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. 83 minutes into the game, Etxahun Tanasio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lagunitas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Candelaria FC the free kick. A collision led to Lagunitas getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Etxahun Tanasio hit a great ball. Frascuelo Pastrana charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frascuelo Pastrana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 88 played minutes Candelaria FC got a freekick which was hit by Frascuelo Pastrana. In the 95th minute Estefan Cantu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Montel Quiles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Candelaria FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
