Paublo Hera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 5 minutes into the game, Urki Gorvea recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Paublo Hera. Urki Gorvea showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Urki Gorvea kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Paublo Hera. That made the score 2-0 in the 8 minute of play. Paublo Hera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urki Gorvea in the 12th minute of play. When Estrellas Roja's Prospero Paradelo in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rompillal's goalie prevented a goal. Estrellas Roja's Federico Rexino got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Federico Rexino put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Feliu Legaspi. If Federico Rexino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Rexino in the 28th minute of play forced Rompillal's goalkeeper Feliu Legaspi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Estrellas Roja's goalkeeper Paublo Hera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mero Abendano. Federico Rexino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Feliu Legaspi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Paublo Hera made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Mero Abendano sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Estrellas Roja booed when Rompillal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urki Gorvea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Federico Rexino struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Feliu Legaspi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estrellas Roja. 44 minutes into the game, Urki Gorvea recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Paublo Hera. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
After a rather tough play, Rompillal's Sergio Orgaz got a free kick in the 57th minute. If Bermudo PujarµN had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Tebaldo Repuente fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rompillal's protests and gave Tebaldo Repuente a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Estrellas Roja booed when Rompillal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tebaldo Repuente didn't get a good kick on the ball.
