Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) Quintan Farras made the kick off and thus started the match. Thanks to some nice moves Xavies Anduiza could shoot a difficult shot in the 3rd minute, which Cristofor Verdesoto however easily saved by the left post. Xavies Anduiza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristofor Verdesoto having to interfere. Papagayo FC's Cristofor Verdesoto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Papagayo FC from getting a goal against them. 12 minutes into the game, Orkatz Algara recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cristofor Verdesoto. Orkatz Algara showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Vitoria Can sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Quintan Farras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dalmai Gala came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Papagayo FC's Quintan Farras. But to his dismay, Quintan Farras quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. A collision led to Papagayo FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Cordara Rivet hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Macareo FC defense, Quintan Farras kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dalmai Gala. The Macareo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dalmai Gala should have stopped the shot. After having played for 31 minutes, Xavies Anduiza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Macareo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xavies Anduiza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Macareo FC's Orkatz Algara got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 48 minutes into the match, Papagayo FC's Vitoria Can sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dalmai Gala narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The wind increased when Orkatz Algara made the kick off in the second half. Xavies Anduiza struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Cristofor Verdesoto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Macareo FC. Quintan Farras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58thth minute of the game Xavies Anduiza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Papagayo FC's Cristofor Verdesoto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Macareo FC booed when Papagayo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Estavan Socarras didn't get a good kick on the ball. Orkatz Algara scored 2-2 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristofor Verdesoto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vitoria Can hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. When Cordara Rivet fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Papagayo FC's protests and gave Cordara Rivet a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Papagayo FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Cordara Rivet hit a great ball. In the 69th minute, Gagriel Contero sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Papagayo FC's Cristofor Verdesoto didn't even have to move. Cristofor Verdesoto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xavies Anduiza in the 71st minute of the match. After 73 played minutes Quintan Farras rounded Macareo FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-3. Cristofor Verdesoto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orkatz Algara in the 76th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Orixe Hondaro during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Macareo FC booed when Papagayo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orixe Hondaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 85 minutes, Vitoria Can managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Papagayo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vitoria Can was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 87th minute, Quintan Farras got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Quintan Farras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Papagayo FC's zone, Xavies Anduiza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristofor Verdesoto came out of the goal and Xavies Anduiza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Papagayo FC's Cristofor Verdesoto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xavies Anduiza in the 93rd minute of play. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Papagayo FC's goalkeeper Cristofor Verdesoto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Papagayo FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Papagayo FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
