Tauro Balmori's late challenge caught a Mocaz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tauro Balmori helped the player get up and apologised. Tauro Balmori kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Salvator Vidania notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Kataluña FC's Maximiliano Truebano. Maximiliano Truebano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Kataluña FC's Xorxe Belaustegui got a free kick in the 24th minute. Kataluña FC's Maximiliano Truebano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvator Vidania in the 25th minute of play. Kinsen Tizon struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Maximiliano Truebano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mocaz. After 27 played minutes Kataluña FC got a freekick which was hit by Tauro Balmori. If Salvator Vidania had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 35 minutes, Salvator Vidania managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mocaz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salvator Vidania was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kinsen Tizon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maximiliano Truebano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Kataluña FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mocaz were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jon Tarriba stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kataluña FC's Maximiliano Truebano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Kataluña FC from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Kataluña FC's zone, Kinsen Tizon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximiliano Truebano came out of the goal and Kinsen Tizon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kinsen Tizon who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Maximiliano Truebano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Salvator Vidania fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Truebano having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Kataluña FC's zone, Salvator Vidania stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximiliano Truebano came out of the goal and Salvator Vidania tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Jon Tarriba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Kataluña FC defense, Salvator Vidania kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maximiliano Truebano. The Kataluña FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maximiliano Truebano should have stopped the shot. Salvator Vidania's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maximiliano Truebano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Maximiliano Truebano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kinsen Tizon in the 94th minute. After 96 played minutes Mocaz got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Munarriz. If Jon Tarriba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mocaz played a much better game than Kataluña FC and deserved their victory. The Kataluña FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
