Nuno Icedo made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Primitivo Artieta sent off a good shot on target. In the 10th minute, Phelipe Aleson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 11 minutes into the game, Gar Lara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barisiguas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mucuro FC the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Phelipe Aleson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mucuro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Phelipe Aleson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evaristo Boveda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nuno Icedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hanni Boliana in the 25th minute of play. Nuno Icedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernando Osorio in the 26th minute. Evaristo Boveda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leon Villodas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leon Villodas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fernando Osorio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Nuno Icedo made a huge save. When Fernando Osorio came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Barisiguas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Osorio couldn't finish the play. Fernando Osorio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Leon Villodas made the kick off in the second half. Barisiguas's Evaristo Boveda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Barisiguas from getting a goal against them. If Hanni Boliana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Mucuro FC's zone, Hanni Boliana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nuno Icedo came out of the goal and Hanni Boliana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Evaristo Boveda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leon Villodas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evaristo Boveda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Phelipe Aleson in the 69th minute. 70 minutes in the game, Leon Villodas fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Evaristo Boveda having to interfere. Leon Villodas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Evaristo Boveda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Phelipe Aleson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 96 minutes, Rogerio Fernando mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mucuro FC and the Barisiguas players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Barisiguas supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mucuro FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Mucuro FC.
