After 13 played minutes Barranquitas FC got a freekick which was hit by Rumaldo Naveda. In the 18th match minute, FC Foxes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliviero Rael to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Senin Sevane in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Epifanio Min prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 31 minutes into the match, FC Foxes's goal looked a bit too open when Senin Sevane came free, but Epifanio Min reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute, FC Foxes's Alvaro Terrilla dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. In the 44th minute Senin Sevane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Min saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ekhi Vara's late challenge caught a Barranquitas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ekhi Vara helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Barranquitas FC booed when FC Foxes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ekhi Vara didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Foxes's Epifanio Min played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Valencina in the 48th minute of play. The FC Foxes players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Barranquitas FC were winning 1-3.

The wind increased when Alvaro Terrilla made the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes FC Foxes got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Terrilla. After 57 minutes of play, FC Foxes's Alvaro Terrilla made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Epifanio Min made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Senin Sevane in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Barranquitas FC's Senin Sevane ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Epifanio Min. Epifanio Min yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. Tobias Valencina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Senin Sevane took a quick shot and it went in 2-5 without a chance for Epifanio Min to make any attempt to save it. Epifanio Min took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Senin Sevane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tobias Valencina got free with Epifanio Min in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Barranquitas FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
