Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vasco Siles kicked off to start the match. In the 6th minute, Tobias Valencina left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barranquitas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Vasco Siles kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joaquin Pirez. That made the score 1-1 in the 10 minute of play. Bazil Lerena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Urritz Saladrigues kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Barranquitas FC's zone, Rio Contera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Pirez came out of the goal and Rio Contera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vasco Siles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Joaquin Pirez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute Vasco Siles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Pirez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the game, Tobias Valencina cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Liberto Pedronera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Urritz Saladrigues's late challenge caught a Catauron's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Urritz Saladrigues helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Catauron booed when Barranquitas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urritz Saladrigues didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute Tobias Valencina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Liberto Pedronera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Rio Contera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Senin Sevane made a kick off. Joaquin Pirez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rio Contera in the 58th minute of play. Vasco Siles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joaquin Pirez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rio Contera, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 64 minutes into the match, Barranquitas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vasco Siles came free, but Joaquin Pirez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute, Vasco Siles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Rio Contera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Catauron's Vasco Siles in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Barranquitas FC's goalie prevented a goal. Barranquitas FC's Urritz Saladrigues got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Liberto Pedronera came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Barranquitas FC's Tobias Valencina. But to his dismay, Tobias Valencina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Vasco Siles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bazil Lerena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute, Vasco Siles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Catauron's Vasco Siles got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vasco Siles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Although Catauron had been in control for most of the match, Barranquitas FC still came away with the win.
