Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) Sauca FC's Ceferino Vellon started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Camilo Gaztelumendi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xabier Villalaud's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luken Pagola read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Copaico's Donio Cunyat got a free kick in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Castaño in the 13th minute of play forced Sauca FC's goalkeeper Luken Pagola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16thth minute of the game Xabier Villalaud who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sauca FC's Luken Pagola was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 21st minute, Xabier Villalaud got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulino Brena during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Paulino Brena kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xabier Villalaud in the 23rd minute of play forced Sauca FC's goalkeeper Luken Pagola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ricardo Castaño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Paulino Brena was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 43 minutes had been played. A collision led to Sauca FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Paulino Brena hit a great ball. Luken Pagola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xabier Villalaud in the 45th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ricardo Castaño to strike the kick off in the second half. Xabier Villalaud could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Luken Pagola made a huge save. Ricardo Castaño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luken Pagola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Castaño in the 54th minute of the match. Xabier Villalauds short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Luken Pagola to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Sauca FC's Oroitz Vivas got a free kick in the 57th minute. Xabier Villalaud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luken Pagola having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Sauca FC's zone, Ricardo Castaño stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luken Pagola came out of the goal and Ricardo Castaño tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Xabier Villalaud came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Copaico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xabier Villalaud couldn't finish the play. Copaico's Bernabel Lando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urtungo Ilarraz in the 75th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Castaño in the 77th minute of play forced Sauca FC's goalkeeper Luken Pagola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo Castaño fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luken Pagola having to interfere. Sauca FC's Luken Pagola proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Sauca FC from getting a goal against them. In the 92nd minute, Ricardo Castaño reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Luken Pagola. The goal made the score 0-1. 96 minutes into the game, Oroitz Vivas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sauca FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Copaico the free kick. Copaico played a much better game than Sauca FC and deserved their victory. The Sauca FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
