Imral Novara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Birila Gambo in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th match minute, Ruquere was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quintino Cortez to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute of the match Ixaka Sotuela sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Imral Novara skillfully saved the ball. When 秦竞伟 fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ruquere's protests and gave 秦竞伟 a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ruquere fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 18th minute. Penalty! Imral Novara went to the wrong direction when Ixaka Sotuela was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. If Nacho Estevez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the match, Arichunita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nacho Estevez came free, but Aritza Bedes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nacho Estevez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Aritza Bedes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Fábio Jacinto came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Ruquere fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fábio Jacinto couldn't finish the play. Nacho Estevez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aritza Bedes having to make a save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Birila Gambo to make the kick off. The referee ignored Arichunita FC's protests and gave Birila Gambo a yellow card for diving instead. After 95 played minutes Arichunita FC got a freekick which was hit by Birila Gambo. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ruquere fully deserved thier win.
