When Saturnino Jaraba fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Lara's protests and gave Saturnino Jaraba a yellow card for diving instead. In the 34th minute Frederico Olazagoitia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markel Caño saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, halcones fc's Luzaide Rajo got control of the ball when Piarres Senabres tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 38 minutes, Machado Trasloseros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. halcones fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Machado Trasloseros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 43 minutes of play, halcones fc's Machado Trasloseros made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Markel Caño was left in no man's land by his defense there! Machado Trasloseros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Machado Trasloseros made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Naldo Muños during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 52nd match minute, halcones fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Naldo Muños to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Machado Trasloseros managed to get in a good position for a shot. halcones fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Machado Trasloseros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Markel Caño breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. halcones fc's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
