Cloyo Alsua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artaldo Montarco having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Lleir Mayoral fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Firmo Errarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitor Aya having to interfere. Firmo Errarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Vitor Aya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Lleir Mayoral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lopez Romarote fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artaldo Montarco having to interfere. In the 40th minute, one of BUCAROS FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for BUCAROS FC. Vitor Aya had in the 41stth minute some difficulties stopping Valery Carasa's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball.

The wind increased when Pascoal Donis made the kick off in the second half. When Lopez Romarote came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the BUCAROS FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lopez Romarote couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lopez Romarote in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artaldo Montarco saved Madrid Merida Vzla CF from getting behind. Artaldo Montarco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lleir Mayoral's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. In the 57th minute Pascoal Donis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitor Aya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Madrid Merida Vzla CF's goal looked a bit too open when Lleir Mayoral came free, but Artaldo Montarco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 61 played minutes BUCAROS FC got a freekick which was hit by Txeru Cantero. If Lopez Romarote had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 69th minute, Lopez Romarote got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lleir Mayoral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute Lleir Mayoral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artaldo Montarco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Madrid Merida Vzla CF's zone, Lopez Romarote stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artaldo Montarco came out of the goal and Lopez Romarote tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Madrid Merida Vzla CF eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
