Chan Orta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofilo Peñas in the 24th minute of the match. Crescencio Chanza's late challenge caught a Ganadores F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Crescencio Chanza helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Guayamurise FC's Crescencio Chanza got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Guayamurise FC's zone, Ceferino Urones stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chan Orta came out of the goal and Ceferino Urones tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teofilo Peñas made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Ceferino Urones got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Teofilo Peñas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hanot Hoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rencio Pernia having to interfere.
