Spectators: 6732 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 0) Zulia FC's Jose-Antonio Cardarda started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Loreto Incera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ignazio Quijano charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ignazio Quijano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Inaria getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. After 17 played minutes, Zulia FC's Prejun Artieta shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Raymon Subiza came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Zulia FC reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose-Antonio Cardarda in the 22nd minute of play forced Inaria's goalkeeper Raymon Subiza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Inaria! 29 minutes into the match, Jose-Antonio Cardarda notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Inaria's Raymon Subiza. Raymon Subiza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jose-Antonio Cardarda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Urdin Pinillas made a kick off. After 55 minutes, Virgilio Cunyat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Inaria and the Zulia FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Virgilio Cunyat hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Zulia FC's Guilllermo Espiga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urdin Pinillas in the 59th minute of play. Urdin Pinillas scored 1-2 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guilllermo Espiga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Calixto Pallar lost his temper 68 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The goalkeeper, Raymon Subiza, was totally fooled by Zulia FC's Prejun Artieta, who 70 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Bastia Iglesias's late challenge caught a Inaria's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bastia Iglesias helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Zulia FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Bastia Iglesias hit a great ball. Ruy Peroalfonso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guilllermo Espiga having to interfere. Urdin Pinillas hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute, Zulia FC's Jose-Antonio Cardarda ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Raymon Subiza. Raymon Subiza yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Raymon Subiza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Truylos Arruda in the 94th minute. Raymon Subiza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose-Antonio Cardarda in the 96th minute of the match. The Zulia FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Zulia FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
