Chayo Sariego started the match with the kick off. Confesor Castellanos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chayo Sariego in the 4th minute of the match. A collision led to Guanarito FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Porfiro Arrascarate hit a great ball. After 8 played minutes Roque Dalton got a freekick which was hit by Luar Llago. If Julen Sierro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 15 minutes of play, Roque Dalton's Chayo Sariego made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Confesor Castellanos was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 19th match minute, Guanarito FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javiero Revillas to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd match minute, Roque Dalton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maore Gamboa to maneuver through the defense. Asier Jene stood somewhat misplaced when Salvatore Velis came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 24 minute. After 27 minutes of play, Roque Dalton's Chayo Sariego made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Confesor Castellanos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Confesor Castellanos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chayo Sariego in the 34th minute of play. If Luar Llago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the match, Chayo Sariego notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Guanarito FC's Confesor Castellanos. Confesor Castellanos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alberto Aldama hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After the first half Roque Dalton were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Chayo Sariego had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Guanarito FC's zone, Chayo Sariego stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Confesor Castellanos came out of the goal and Chayo Sariego tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 59 minutes into the match, Roque Dalton's Chayo Sariego sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Confesor Castellanos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Confesor Castellanos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julen Sierro, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Ariel Donis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asier Jene having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chayo Sariego in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Confesor Castellanos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Guanarito FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Javiero Revillas hit a great ball. If Julen Sierro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 75 played minutes Guanarito FC got a freekick which was hit by Javiero Revillas. Chayo Sariego sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Chayo Sariego's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Confesor Castellanos was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. In the 83rd minute, Cordaryal Barriola got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Confesor Castellanos didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 85th minute, which inside left pole to 1-4. Roque Dalton's Chayo Sariego got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match was over Roque Dalton could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Guanarito FC throughout the match.
