The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for C A I C. 1-0 came through a penalty shot after 10 played minutes, when Aragua fc:s Modestio Castreciones calmly waited for C A I C:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. Zacarias Castaños recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 23rd minute of the match Brion Irigoras shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mark Moyeda showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Aragua fc's Estavan Villametide got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Quexal Soldevila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Zacarias Castaños blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mark Moyeda having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Aragua fc's zone, Zacarias Castaños stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mark Moyeda came out of the goal and Zacarias Castaños tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zacarias Castaños during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 30th minute, Zacarias Castaños hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd match minute, Aragua fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Estavan Villametide to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute of the match Antonio Brion sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mark Moyeda skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to C A I C getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Urritz Ruesga hit a great ball. Hanot Balbanea's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Generosb Samano firmly grabbed it by the left post. C A I C's Generosb Samano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristo Castillo in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Palban Lagunas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Quexal Soldevila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mark Moyeda having to interfere. A collision led to Aragua fc getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Estavan Villametide hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristo Castillo was the one to do the kick off. In the 59th minute, Aragua fc's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Quexal Soldevila fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Cristo Castillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aragua fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristo Castillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Generosb Samano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. C A I C's Zacarias Castaños got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 67th minute, Herminio Barrera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. C A I C were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after Aragua fc's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antonio Brion took the corner. The corner led C A I C's Antonio Brion to fire away a dangerous shot which Mark Moyeda despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Generosb Samano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristo Castillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristo Castillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Quexal Soldevila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zacarias Castaños fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mark Moyeda having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Quexal Soldevila's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mark Moyeda was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Quexal Soldevila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Mark Moyeda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Quexal Soldevila kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mark Moyeda. That made the score 1-1 in the 94 minute of play. C A I C were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Aragua fc to leave the ground with a draw.
