After having played for 8 minutes, Caitano Iribe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balavaneda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Caitano Iribe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ubelteso Cia hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. 11 minutes into the match, Balavaneda's Rojelio Villamañan broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Caitano Iribe was extremely unlucky when he, in the 14th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 15 minutes, Carlos Redonet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marache FC and the Balavaneda players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience was convinced that Lluterio Pavieta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ibon Espina was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game.
