Lucas Somarribas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17thth minute of the game Ciriaco Eli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but INVICTUS's Lucas Somarribas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, INVICTUS's Aquiles Diaz got a free kick in the 21st minute. When Ciriaco Eli came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Maraquillal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciriaco Eli couldn't finish the play. Lucas Somarribas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Checa Bachicabo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 25 minute of play. Ciriaco Eli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maraquillal's Calisto Lastra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardino Tarazona in the 31st minute of play. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind INVICTUS's goalkeeper Lucas Somarribas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Maraquillal's Ciriaco Eli in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye INVICTUS's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in INVICTUS's zone, Saverio Sandalio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. In the 43rd minute, Ciriaco Eli fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Lucas Somarribas, passed just outside the right post. Ciriaco Eli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Checa Bachicabo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Lucas Somarribas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The audience was convinced that Ciriaco Eli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lucas Somarribas was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Flor Cervantez got free with Calisto Lastra in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 78 minutes of play, Maraquillal's Ciriaco Eli made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lucas Somarribas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lucas Somarribas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciriaco Eli in the 81st minute of play. Ciriaco Eli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Checa Bachicabo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucas Somarribas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciriaco Eli in the 88th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Saverio Sandalio notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of INVICTUS's Lucas Somarribas. Lucas Somarribas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ciriaco Eli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Somarribas having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciriaco Eli in the 96th minute of play forced INVICTUS's goalkeeper Lucas Somarribas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maraquillal's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
