Spectators: 6762 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1762, VIP seats: 0) Tibana FC's Feliberto Erus started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Through an outstanding action, after 6 minutes, Manoel Isla successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 9 minutes into the match, Melaito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Feliberto Erus came free, but Adolfo Mazorra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adolfo Mazorra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliberto Erus in the 10th minute of play. Gutierre Freixes kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Marcelito Calderona struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Adolfo Mazorra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tibana FC. In the 17th minute Feliberto Erus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Mazorra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelito Calderona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Adolfo Mazorra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manoel Isla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xicu Repuente in the 32nd minute of the match. Marcelito Calderona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Adolfo Mazorra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adolfo Mazorra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelito Calderona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xicu Repuente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xicu Repuente to make the kick off. The supporters of Melaito FC booed when Tibana FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xurdin Resto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rdth minute of the game Lando Garro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tibana FC's Manoel Isla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 55th minute of the match Melaito FC got a corner. Tibana FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lorencio Sodupe ran over to the corner to take the kick. Lorencio Sodupe made a great header on Melaito FC's corner, it was just that Tibana FC's Manoel Isla managed to reach the ball for a save. Marcelito Calderona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliberto Erus in the 60th minute of play forced Melaito FC's goalkeeper Adolfo Mazorra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute, Lando Garro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Manoel Isla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lando Garro went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 67th minute Lando Garro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manoel Isla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st match minute, Melaito FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gutierre Freixes to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes into the game, Marcelito Calderona lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Adolfo Mazorra. Xicu Repuente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Manoel Isla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Feliberto Erus came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Tibana FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliberto Erus couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lorencio Sodupe during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lorencio Sodupe kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. The supporters of Melaito FC booed when Tibana FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claude Frecha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tibana FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
