But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ubendu Goma couldn't finish the play. In the 9th match minute, PIRATAS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentine Caraveo to maneuver through the defense. Naelio Fito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horado Barriola having to interfere. If Casado Espinareda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the game, Xacobo Cerrajero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PIRATAS FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chimarez the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 19th minute of the game. One of PIRATAS FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Chimarez:s goal. Ferdinand Ferrer went to the wrong direction when Restu Barroso was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. When Chimarez's Casado Espinareda in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PIRATAS FC's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Ubendu Goma sped through PIRATAS FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ferdinand Ferrer. The audience was convinced that Casado Espinareda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ferdinand Ferrer was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Chimarez's Ubendu Goma got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casado Espinareda in the 38th minute of play forced PIRATAS FC's goalkeeper Ferdinand Ferrer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ferdinand Ferrer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Casado Espinareda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ferdinand Ferrer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubendu Goma in the 41st minute of play. Ferdinand Ferrer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ubendu Goma in the 43rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casado Espinareda in the 44th minute of play forced PIRATAS FC's goalkeeper Ferdinand Ferrer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ferdinand Ferrer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ubendu Goma's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casado Espinareda in the 48th minute of play forced PIRATAS FC's goalkeeper Ferdinand Ferrer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The PIRATAS FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Chimarez were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hilario Piedeconcha was the one to do the kick off. Ubendu Goma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinand Ferrer having to interfere. Jurgi Parcero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ferdinand Ferrer having to make a save. 56 minutes into the match, PIRATAS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ubendu Goma came free, but Ferdinand Ferrer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 59 played minutes, Chimarez's Restu Barroso shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ferdinand Ferrer came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chimarez reached it. Casado Espinareda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinand Ferrer having to interfere. Gasteiz Sagredo kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Casado Espinareda notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of PIRATAS FC's Ferdinand Ferrer. Ferdinand Ferrer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ubendu Goma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Ferdinand Ferrer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Casado Espinareda charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Casado Espinareda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 76th minute, Casado Espinareda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of PIRATAS FC booed when Chimarez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kusko Lizaur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rosio Labastida hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Valentine Caraveo kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. PIRATAS FC's Ferdinand Ferrer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save PIRATAS FC from getting a goal against them. In the 89th minute, Ubendu Goma got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ubendu Goma recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 95th minute Ubendu Goma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinand Ferrer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Chimarez could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than PIRATAS FC throughout the match.
