Maule Esquivel charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maule Esquivel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Maule Esquivel hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Laurel FC's Eron Sancibrao got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 5th minute, Lizar Garcia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 6th match minute, Laurel FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maule Esquivel to maneuver through the defense. Joselito Aldaeta struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Rosendo Almaraz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Laurel FC. Moise Beguellina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lizar Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Joselito Aldaeta came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Laurel FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joselito Aldaeta couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Seigaku FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Stephen Chapital hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Seigaku FC's Ruy Quindos got a free kick in the 24th minute. 33 minutes into the game, Marz Olozaga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Seigaku FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Laurel FC the free kick. In the 33rd minute, Marz Olozaga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the match, Seigaku FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joselito Aldaeta came free, but Rosendo Almaraz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Joselito Aldaeta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Laurel FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Joselito Aldaeta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rosendo Almaraz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eron Sancibrao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 39 minutes into the match, Seigaku FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joselito Aldaeta came free, but Rosendo Almaraz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Eron Sancibrao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Laurel FC's Joselito Aldaeta slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rosendo Almaraz. That made the score 3-0 after 47 minutes of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Maule Esquivel hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. If Joselito Aldaeta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eron Sancibrao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Laurel FC's Gervasio Juara tried to score from far away in the 82nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Joselito Aldaeta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Joselito Aldaeta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosendo Almaraz having to interfere. Laurel FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
