After 22 minutes, Ruy Quindos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Seigaku FC and the UA Carabobo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 23 played minutes Seigaku FC got a freekick which was hit by Ruy Quindos. UA Carabobo's Maurilio Corres couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Seigaku FC. Opilano Llorengoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Rosendo Almaraz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Ruy Quindos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Opilano Llorengoz in the 31st minute of play forced Seigaku FC's goalkeeper Rosendo Almaraz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuel Riera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lizar Garcia went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 40th minute, Nestor Losado made a precise shot to the right of Rosendo Almaraz. Seigaku FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marz Olozaga was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nestor Losado in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rosendo Almaraz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rosendo Almaraz made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Opilano Llorengoz sent off a good shot on target. Seigaku FC's Lizar Garcia got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 62 minutes into the match, UA Carabobo's goal looked a bit too open when Marz Olozaga came free, but Emanuel Riera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nestor Losado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 66 minutes of play, UA Carabobo's Opilano Llorengoz made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rosendo Almaraz was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Lizar Garcia in the 74th minute of play forced UA Carabobo's goalkeeper Emanuel Riera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 76 minutes, Nestor Losado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UA Carabobo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nestor Losado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 87th minute Lizar Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Riera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Opilano Llorengoz got free with Rosendo Almaraz in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nestor Losado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Rosendo Almaraz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
