Spectators: 7620 (Terracing: 5716, Seating: 1752, VIP seats: 152) Kirkwood's Zeledon Maimo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Kirkwood's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Villapun came free, but Selmo Aleja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Selmo Aleja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Villapun, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Kirkwood's Selmo Aleja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albino Pison in the 7th minute of play. Ciro Villapun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Albino Pison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Jaimero's Iratzeder Herce got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute, Peter Bazo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Quintun Teberga, passed just outside the right post. After a rather tough play, Jaimero's Chorache Sariego got a free kick in the 24th minute. After 25 played minutes Jaimero got a freekick which was hit by Iratzeder Herce. Hipolito Ternero was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 26th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 28 played minutes Kirkwood got a freekick which was hit by Dalmu Borines. In the 29th minute, Tiniebra Zadaya sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Kirkwood's Selmo Aleja didn't even have to move. Selmo Aleja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albino Pison, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th match minute, Kirkwood was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dalmu Borines to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute of the match Tiniebra Zadaya sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Selmo Aleja skillfully saved the ball. If Ciro Villapun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, Kirkwood's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Villapun came free, but Selmo Aleja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Albino Pison left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jaimero fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Ciro Villapun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jaimero's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciro Villapun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Selmo Aleja breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ciro Villapun to strike the kick off in the second half. Albino Pison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ciro Villapun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute, Chorache Sariego hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Quintun Teberga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Bazo in the 65th minute of play. Jaimero's Ciro Villapun got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Kirkwood's zone, Chorache Sariego stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Selmo Aleja came out of the goal and Chorache Sariego tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chorache Sariego received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Selmo Aleja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Quintun Teberga came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Kirkwood's Peter Bazo. But to his dismay, Peter Bazo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. A hard shot by Vidal Guipuzcoa from long distance, 82 minutes into the match, got Selmo Aleja's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Bortzaioriz Roqueñi charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bortzaioriz Roqueñi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 84th minute, Bortzaioriz Roqueñi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Albino Pison could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Selmo Aleja made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Ciro Villapun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Selmo Aleja was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. A collision led to Jaimero getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Roberto Cuenca hit a great ball.
