Zenon Tejo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gasteiz Arechavala having to interfere. Portuguesa's Shepherd Reborio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timo Bengoa in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Ysidro Vicioso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Neo Liberty FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Salbatore Bildosteguy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
