Faron Saldaña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quintun Teberga having to interfere. After having played for 7 minutes, Faron Saldaña managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Neo Liberty FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Faron Saldaña was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Timo Bengoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quintun Teberga having to interfere. When Chorache Sariego fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jaimero's protests and gave Chorache Sariego a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th minute, Chorache Sariego hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th match minute, Jaimero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chorache Sariego to maneuver through the defense. Quintun Teberga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timo Bengoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Timo Bengoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Quintun Teberga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Faron Saldaña came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Neo Liberty FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Faron Saldaña couldn't finish the play. Timo Bengoa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Quintun Teberga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Quintun Teberga came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Neo Liberty FC's Faron Saldaña. But to his dismay, Faron Saldaña quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 39thth minute of the game Ciro Villapun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Neo Liberty FC's Gasteiz Arechavala was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gasteiz Arechavala was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Ciro Villapun capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ciro Villapun really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. After a rather tough play, Neo Liberty FC's Vasco Flayre got a free kick in the 47th minute. Jaimero were awarded a corner in the 49th minute after Neo Liberty FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tiniebra Zadaya took the corner. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Gasteiz Arechavala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albino Pison in the 58th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Neo Liberty FC's zone, Chorache Sariego stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gasteiz Arechavala came out of the goal and Chorache Sariego tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Chorache Sariego was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 66 minutes had been played. The supporters of Neo Liberty FC booed when Jaimero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chorache Sariego didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gasteiz Arechavala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albino Pison, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute Albino Pison shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gasteiz Arechavala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Neo Liberty FC's zone, Albino Pison stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gasteiz Arechavala came out of the goal and Albino Pison tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Albino Pison recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Ciro Villapun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jaimero's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciro Villapun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gasteiz Arechavala breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Albino Pison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Neo Liberty FC's Gasteiz Arechavala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albino Pison in the 93rd minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Neo Liberty FC's goal looked a bit too open when Albino Pison came free, but Gasteiz Arechavala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Neo Liberty FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
