After some careless play in the C.D. Lara defense, Xulio Illanes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Filomeno Caballeiro. The C.D. Lara fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filomeno Caballeiro should have stopped the shot. If Paquito Guitian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The wind increased when Clodoveo Graells made the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes, Udalaitz Sobrefuentes mouthed his way into the referee's book. Cipriano Hudobro kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. C.D. Lara's Filomeno Caballeiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save C.D. Lara from getting a goal against them. Vicemte Valenzuela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clodoveo Graells, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A throw-in in the 95th minute of the game was made by Filipe Turiela with Paz Esteban as target, who quickly passed the ball forward.
