When Saturnin Gorostarzu came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the ThePolice fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saturnin Gorostarzu couldn't finish the play. A collision led to ThePolice getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Sendoa Caneiro hit a great ball. Francho Dorrial struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Zé Paulo Guedes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ZANARE FC. When Sengrat Asuaga fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ZANARE FC's protests and gave Sengrat Asuaga a yellow card for diving instead. After 16 played minutes ZANARE FC got a freekick which was hit by Sengrat Asuaga. Egun Ezquibela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Melchazadec Buitron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 26 minutes, Egun Ezquibela managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ThePolice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Egun Ezquibela was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 32 minutes into the match, ZANARE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Saturnin Gorostarzu came free, but Melchazadec Buitron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 37 minutes, Egun Ezquibela managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ThePolice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Egun Ezquibela was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39th minute Saturnin Gorostarzu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melchazadec Buitron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saturnin Gorostarzu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Egun Ezquibela could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Melchazadec Buitron made a huge save. If Gutierre Verda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Saturnin Gorostarzu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Xove Agranja cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Melchazadec Buitron was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 62nd minute, Francho Dorrial got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xove Agranja in the 67th minute of play forced ZANARE FC's goalkeeper Melchazadec Buitron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ZANARE FC's Melchazadec Buitron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saturnin Gorostarzu in the 70th minute of play. ThePolice's Ysidro Alcedo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for ZANARE FC. Amato Amondo hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Saturnin Gorostarzu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Francho Dorrial fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Paulo Guedes having to interfere. Francho Dorrial hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Egun Ezquibela in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Melchazadec Buitron prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gutierre Verdas short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Zé Paulo Guedes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 99 minutes, Saturnin Gorostarzu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ThePolice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saturnin Gorostarzu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. ThePolice's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
