In the 19th play minute Indalecio Cubas came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Quico Busta. 1-0. Rosalio Monzon kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. When Valente Orol came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Iboa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valente Orol couldn't finish the play. 43 minutes into the game, cucaramanga's Indalecio Cubas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Quico Busta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Quico Busta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Panero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

After 51 played minutes Iboa FC got a freekick which was hit by Valente Orol. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Indalecio Cubas managed to get in a good position for a shot. cucaramanga's supporters rose to their feet, but Indalecio Cubas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Quico Busta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Iboa FC's Valente Orol got a free kick in the 54th minute. Iboa FC's Quico Busta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Indalecio Cubas in the 57th minute of play. If Indalecio Cubas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Panero struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Quico Busta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for cucaramanga. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 73rd minute of the game. One of Iboa FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of cucaramanga:s goal. The referee gave cucaramanga a penalty, 74 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Leon Villariño, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Iboa FC's Quico Busta. 3-0. Indalecio Cubas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quico Busta having to interfere. Indalecio Cubas might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Quico Busta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Indalecio Cubas ran back to his position shaking his head. Quico Busta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jorge Panero's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Valente Orol struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Marcones Obaya didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iboa FC. Jorge Panero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Quico Busta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. cucaramanga's Jorge Panero got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The cucaramanga fans cheered their team off the field, for while Iboa FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
