Upata FC's Augusto Laine managed to work through Tronconal FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Augusto Laine dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Tajo Martioda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Koldo Hevia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Upata FC's Igor Neses got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fortunato Tamajon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Koldo Hevia having to interfere. 24 minutes into the game, Tajo Martioda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Koldo Hevia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 27 minutes, Panpili Posse mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Upata FC and the Tronconal FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tronconal FC's Frichoso Milla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Tronconal FC from getting a goal against them. Tronconal FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Upata FC the free kick. The supporters of Upata FC booed when Tronconal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celestino Castrejana didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Tajo Martioda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tronconal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tajo Martioda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Koldo Hevia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Upata FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tronconal FC were winning 0-2.

In the 55th minute Igor Neses shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frichoso Milla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tronconal FC's Frichoso Milla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Neses in the 59th minute of play. Frichoso Milla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Laine, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96thth minute of the game Panpili Posse who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tronconal FC's Frichoso Milla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Tronconal FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
