Spectators: 6000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Xavian Entia started the match with the kick off. Natanael Hernando blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Esquipula Cañas having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Academia Venezolana's zone, Xavian Entia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eleder Bebias came out of the goal and Xavian Entia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 19 minutes into the game, when Etxepare Riesco put in a rough tackle. Quique Cañete sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivon Galan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Esquipula Cañas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natanael Hernando in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Manantiales's goal looked a bit too open when Natanael Hernando came free, but Esquipula Cañas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Natanael Hernando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Esquipula Cañas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erubiel Cuetos hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Manantiales's Esquipula Cañas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaueko Iglesias in the 43rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erubiel Cuetos during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Academia Venezolana booed when Manantiales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erubiel Cuetos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Natanael Hernando made the kick off in the second half. Ivon Galan struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Eleder Bebias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manantiales. Natanael Hernando kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Manantiales's Quique Cañete got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Quique Cañete fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eleder Bebias having to interfere. Natanael Hernando took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Esquipula Cañas. Esquipula Cañas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The supporters of Manantiales booed when Academia Venezolana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xilo Bracho didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute Quique Cañete shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eleder Bebias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ivon Galan came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Manantiales fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivon Galan couldn't finish the play. Quique Cañete fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eleder Bebias having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Xilo Bracho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quique Cañete in the 94th minute of play forced Academia Venezolana's goalkeeper Eleder Bebias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
