With a left leg Domingos Herdozain saved deportivo FC from getting behind. After having played for 19 minutes, Xavian Entia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manantiales's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xavian Entia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Manantiales booed when deportivo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Americo Zuri didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Manantiales's Heriberto Guereña broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Lopez Carcedo fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored deportivo FC's protests and gave Lopez Carcedo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 27th match minute, deportivo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lopez Carcedo to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes into the match, Manantiales's goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Cachurro came free, but Esquipula Cañas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Gartzea Mansilla made a precise shot to the right of Esquipula Cañas. Manantiales's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Erubiel Cuetos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. Manantiales's Esquipula Cañas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gartzea Mansilla in the 54th minute of play. Higinio Cachurro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pierres Sanabria charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pierres Sanabria the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 68 played minutes deportivo FC got a freekick which was hit by Pierres Sanabria. When Xavian Entia came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Manantiales fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xavian Entia couldn't finish the play. Domingos Herdozain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quique Cañete, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute, Xavian Entia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Xavian Entia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quique Cañete blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Domingos Herdozain having to make a save.
