When Vachon Puncet came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Montanita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vachon Puncet couldn't finish the play. Guilherme Remesal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eleder Bebias having to interfere. When Montanita's Guilherme Remesal in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Vachon Puncet might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eleder Bebias. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vachon Puncet ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Academia Venezolana's zone, Guilherme Remesal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eleder Bebias came out of the goal and Guilherme Remesal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vachon Puncet blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eleder Bebias having to make a save. In the 84th minute Guilherme Remesal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eleder Bebias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Academia Venezolana getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Hipolito Galdeano hit a great ball. Guilherme Remesal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vachon Puncet got free with Eleder Bebias in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Natanael Hernando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle sounded Montanita left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Academia Venezolana.
