If Lourenco Quetara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the match, Gartzea Mansilla dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Perpinya Dorado, 2-0. Perpinya Dorado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gartzea Mansilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in deportivo FC's zone, Lourenco Quetara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingos Herdozain came out of the goal and Lourenco Quetara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ubaldo Horduña scored 2-2 in the 49th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Domingos Herdozain, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Domingos Herdozain was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, deportivo FC's Xavon Urbina got a free kick in the 76th minute. After 79 played minutes Mucusas FC got a freekick which was hit by Chabier Cotillo. After recieving a nice pass, deportivo FC's Xavon Urbina tried to score from far away in the 80th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. With his leg Domingos Herdozain managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Mucusas FC's Lourenco Quetara fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. deportivo FC's Domingos Herdozain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubaldo Horduña in the 84th minute of play. The supporters of Mucusas FC booed when deportivo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Curcio Laiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute, Ubaldo Horduña got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. deportivo FC's Domingos Herdozain proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save deportivo FC from getting a goal against them. Chabier Cotillo made a great header on Mucusas FC's corner, it was just that deportivo FC's Domingos Herdozain managed to reach the ball for a save. Mucusas FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
