In the 12th match minute, Giron FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oso Arruda to maneuver through the defense. Delfino Giron was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 12th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Xaiver Monterros came free with the goalkeeper in the 16th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Paz Moroño could save by the left post. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Bruno Nalda put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jeremias Pedrueca. Bruno Nalda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeremias Pedrueca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reynaldo Izquierdo couldn't finish the play. Martxelin Arando hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Delfino Giron, 44 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bruno Nalda made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Giron FC's zone, Xaiver Monterros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paz Moroño came out of the goal and Xaiver Monterros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xaiver Monterros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Paz Moroño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xaiver Monterros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Xaiver Monterros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paz Moroño was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. 81 minutes into the game, Ochi's Reynaldo Izquierdo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paz Moroño made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Reynaldo Izquierdo in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paz Moroño prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Giron FC's Paz Moroño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Izquierdo in the 87th minute of play. Cristian Cortaza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Pedrueca having to interfere. Xaiver Monterros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Paz Moroño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ochi were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Giron FC for a fine match.
