The audience thought a goal was coming when Oso Arruda got free with Jerrold Fonte in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 11 minutes, Tercero Colunga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Giron FC and the 112 BIMEC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 12th match minute, Giron FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tercero Colunga to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Cortaza got free with Jerrold Fonte in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Giron FC's Paz Moroño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eder Broz in the 20th minute of play. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Giron FC's goalkeeper Paz Moroño, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Amadeo Arandia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute, Oso Arruda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Giron FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After some careless play in the Giron FC defense, Amadeo Arandia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paz Moroño. The Giron FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paz Moroño should have stopped the shot. Jerrold Fonte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Nalda in the 44th minute of the match.

After a rather tough play, 112 BIMEC's Amadeo Arandia got a free kick in the 52nd minute. 55 minutes into the match, Giron FC's goalkeeper Paz Moroño had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cedro Belda. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Eder Broz took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Paz Moroño to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of 112 BIMEC booed when Giron FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tercero Colunga didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Cedro Belda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Giron FC's zone, Sustrai Gamones stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paz Moroño came out of the goal and Sustrai Gamones tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Giron FC's Paz Moroño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eder Broz in the 65th minute of play. Cedro Belda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Sustrai Gamones had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sustrai Gamones received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Paz Moroño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sustrai Gamones's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paz Moroño read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Giron FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Eder Broz scored to the left of an out of position Paz Moroño, making the score, 2-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eder Broz in the 91st minute of play forced Giron FC's goalkeeper Paz Moroño to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Nalda in the 92nd minute of play forced 112 BIMEC's goalkeeper Jerrold Fonte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, 112 BIMEC's goal looked a bit too open when Oso Arruda came free, but Jerrold Fonte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute, Amadeo Arandia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paz Moroño took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sustrai Gamones, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
