An unexpectedly hard shot by Pancho Guemez in the 4th minute of play forced Copaico FC's goalkeeper Amancio Laboy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the game, Xosepe Anievas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Copaico FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barcelona F.C the free kick. Lazcano Sedeño made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urdaspal Villazan in the 8th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Lando Ocariz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Barcelona F.C's Paulino Brochero couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 18th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Copaico FC. After 19 played minutes Copaico FC got a freekick which was hit by Xosepe Anievas. Bidun Gavilan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lazcano Sedeño showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiadoro Tejeyra in the 28th minute of the match. If Pancho Guemez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Pancho Guemez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Amancio Laboy. The goal made the score 1-0. Amancio Laboy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pancho Guemez in the 42nd minute of the match. Xosepe Cagigas charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xosepe Cagigas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 44 played minutes Copaico FC got a freekick which was hit by Xosepe Cagigas. Quin Amada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amancio Laboy having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pancho Guemez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Urdaspal Villazan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Lazcano Sedeño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Quin Amada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lazcano Sedeño made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tiadoro Tejeyra in the 80th minute. Garcia Elzuardi kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Amancio Laboy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pancho Guemez, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Copaico FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
