After 12 played minutes, Momoy FC's Xaver Bengochea shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Amancio Laboy came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Momoy FC reached it. The audience was convinced that Gabriel Angosto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amancio Laboy was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. 18 minutes into the game, Urbes Cernadas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Momoy FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Copaico FC the free kick. In the 18th match minute, Momoy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urbes Cernadas to maneuver through the defense. Amancio Laboy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Angosto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Urdaspal Villazan struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Osoro Noguer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Copaico FC. When Gabriel Angosto came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Momoy FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Angosto couldn't finish the play. Garcia Elzuardi hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After having played for 27 minutes, Gabriel Angosto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Momoy FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Angosto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Amancio Laboy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ildefonso Caborredondo in the 28th minute of the match. If Tiadoro Tejeyra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ildefonso Caborredondo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amancio Laboy having to make a save. In the 44th match minute, Copaico FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xosepe Cagigas to maneuver through the defense. Copaico FC were furious when Anacleto Cañucal was red carded, 46 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 49th minute there was a penalty for Momoy FC. Justino Cubria stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Amancio Laboy. 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gabriel Angosto to make the kick off. Amancio Laboy came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Momoy FC's Gabriel Angosto. But to his dismay, Gabriel Angosto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Ildefonso Caborredondo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Amancio Laboy when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Momoy FC's Gabriel Angosto got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ildefonso Caborredondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amancio Laboy having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Ildefonso Caborredondo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Amancio Laboy, passed just outside the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Gabriel Angosto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Momoy FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Angosto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amancio Laboy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ildefonso Caborredondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amancio Laboy having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Copaico FC's goalkeeper Amancio Laboy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ildefonso Caborredondo. Ildefonso Caborredondo struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Amancio Laboy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Momoy FC. 90 minutes into the game, Copaico FC's Tiadoro Tejeyra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Osoro Noguer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. When the match was over Momoy FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Copaico FC throughout the match.
