The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8thth minute of the game Tonete Sabugo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barcelona F.C's Lazcano Sedeño was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Quin Amada during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tonete Sabugo in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lazcano Sedeño saved Barcelona F.C from getting behind. Lazcano Sedeño didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Montesdeoca's Tonete Sabugo shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Lauaxeta Hermosa kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 20th minute by Tonete Sabugo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a defensive mix-up in Barcelona F.C's zone, Norberto Pelayo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lazcano Sedeño came out of the goal and Norberto Pelayo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lazcano Sedeño took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tonete Sabugo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Pancho Guemez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barcelona F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Pancho Guemez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kepa Vaquerizo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eustaquio Betoño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ximeno Orden kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Norberto Pelayo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lazcano Sedeño read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Lauaxeta Hermosa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Montesdeoca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barcelona F.C the free kick. Kepa Vaquerizo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pancho Guemez in the 46th minute of play. After 47 minutes, Rigoberto Osorio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Montesdeoca and the Barcelona F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 47th match minute, Montesdeoca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Osorio to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Tonete Sabugo made the kick off in the second half. Eustaquio Betoño fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kepa Vaquerizo having to interfere. In the 55th minute of the match Paulino Brochero sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kepa Vaquerizo skillfully saved the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 58 minutes into the game, when Blas Sarro put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 57th minute of the game. One of Barcelona F.C:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Montesdeoca:s goal. In the 62nd minute, Tonete Sabugo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tonete Sabugo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Barcelona F.C's Bidun Gavilan got a free kick in the 68th minute. If Norberto Pelayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Norberto Pelayo came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Montesdeoca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norberto Pelayo couldn't finish the play. Tonete Sabugo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Norberto Pelayo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Lazcano Sedeño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Montesdeoca's Kepa Vaquerizo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Montesdeoca from getting a goal against them. Eustaquio Betoño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eustaquio Betoño struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Kepa Vaquerizo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barcelona F.C. Montesdeoca were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Barcelona F.C for a fine match.
