Spectators: 6849 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1849, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Joey Pelegrina kicked off to start the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manolo Pejuan in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valdo Folgueral saved Sanjonote FC from getting behind. Patrido Silvestri hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermelando Cortiguera in the 6th minute of play forced Sanjonote FC's goalkeeper Valdo Folgueral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 7 played minutes Cedral got a freekick which was hit by Stanislao Feyjo. Paul Arteaga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joey Pelegrina in the 8th minute of the match. Valdo Folgueral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermelando Cortiguera in the 12th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manolo Pejuan in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valdo Folgueral saved Sanjonote FC from getting behind. 17 minutes into the game, Policarpio Taboada was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cedral's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sanjonote FC the free kick. A hard shot by Ilazki Barrasa from long distance, 18 minutes into the match, got Paul Arteaga's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After some careless play in the Sanjonote FC defense, Hermelando Cortiguera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valdo Folgueral. The Sanjonote FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valdo Folgueral should have stopped the shot. 24 minutes into the game, Cedral's Manolo Pejuan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valdo Folgueral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Manolo Pejuan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Valdo Folgueral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rdth minute of the game Hermelando Cortiguera who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sanjonote FC's Valdo Folgueral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hermelando Cortiguera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Valdo Folgueral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Manolo Pejuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

Hermelando Cortiguera struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Valdo Folgueral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cedral. Valdo Folgueral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manolo Pejuan in the 57th minute of the match. Valdo Folgueral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manolo Pejuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. When Patrido Silvestri fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sanjonote FC's protests and gave Patrido Silvestri a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Sanjonote FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Patrido Silvestri hit a great ball. Manolo Pejuan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdo Folgueral having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 65th minute by Hermelando Cortiguera got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 65 played minutes Sanjonote FC got a freekick which was hit by Corderall Frenes. 66 minutes into the match, Lalla Tama sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Valdo Folgueral threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Lalla Tama this time. When Espiridion Durazno came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Sanjonote FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Espiridion Durazno couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Hermelando Cortiguera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cedral's supporters rose to their feet, but Hermelando Cortiguera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valdo Folgueral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hermelando Cortiguera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdo Folgueral having to interfere. Hermelando Cortiguera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Valdo Folgueral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valdo Folgueral was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Manolo Pejuan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Manolo Pejuan really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. After having played for 83 minutes, Stanislao Feyjo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cedral's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stanislao Feyjo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 85th minute Manolo Pejuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdo Folgueral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Hermelando Cortiguera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 99 minutes, Hermelando Cortiguera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cedral and the Sanjonote FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 99th minute, Hermelando Cortiguera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cedral played a much better game than Sanjonote FC and deserved their victory. The Sanjonote FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
