It was a penalty for Isi! Aurken Corada stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hermelando Cortiguera's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Lucian Bonachea hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. If Manolo Pejuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Paul Arteaga managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Isi's Txindoki Quintana fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Policarpio Taboada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurken Corada having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Hermelando Cortiguera made a precise shot to the right of Aurken Corada. Isi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Senen Ontiveros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hermelando Cortiguera who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 51stth minute tested the skills of Aurken Corada when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Hermelando Cortiguera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Txindoki Quintana in the 56th minute of play forced Cedral's goalkeeper Paul Arteaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manolo Pejuan in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aurken Corada saved Isi from getting behind. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Aurken Corada, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Isi getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Senen Ontiveros hit a great ball. Cedral's Lalla Tama shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 90th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Aurken Corada but with some difficulty. When Hermelando Cortiguera came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Cedral fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hermelando Cortiguera couldn't finish the play.
