Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Romeo Garmendia started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Guayana FC's Sixto Armentia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniel Cabalar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of TUCANES FC booed when Guayana FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucio Menoyo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Presebal Baizan notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Guayana FC's Bermund Barcelo. Bermund Barcelo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bermund Barcelo came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by TUCANES FC's Cedro Cerdan. But to his dismay, Cedro Cerdan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 14thth minute of the game Cedro Cerdan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guayana FC's Bermund Barcelo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bermund Barcelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cedro Cerdan in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Romeo Garmendia reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Daniel Cabalar. The goal made the score 1-2. In the 26th minute Presebal Baizan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bermund Barcelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Guayana FC defense, Presebal Baizan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bermund Barcelo. The Guayana FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bermund Barcelo should have stopped the shot. 39 minutes into the match, Guayana FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cedro Cerdan came free, but Bermund Barcelo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Erubiel Somarriba came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Guayana FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erubiel Somarriba couldn't finish the play. Bermund Barcelo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cedro Cerdan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Presebal Baizan in the 44th minute of play forced Guayana FC's goalkeeper Bermund Barcelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucio Menoyo kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Garoa Lantadilla, 45 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After having played for 47 minutes, Jacindo Antia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guayana FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacindo Antia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Cedro Cerdan made the kick off in the second half. Guayana FC's Bermund Barcelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cedro Cerdan in the 53rd minute of play. Bermund Barcelo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cedro Cerdan, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 61 minutes into the game, Presebal Baizan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Bermund Barcelo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Panagiotis Bissias hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Erubiel Somarriba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to TUCANES FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Pasqual Pacheco hit a great ball. When Pasqual Pacheco fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TUCANES FC's protests and gave Pasqual Pacheco a yellow card for diving instead. After 69 played minutes Guayana FC got a freekick which was hit by Erubiel Somarriba. Cedro Cerdan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bermund Barcelo came out and tried to block the shot, but Cedro Cerdan slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 71st minute. 74 minutes into the game, Cedro Cerdan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bermund Barcelo. Cedro Cerdan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-6. A collision led to Guayana FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Martxel Alaña hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Guayana FC defense, Presebal Baizan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bermund Barcelo. The Guayana FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bermund Barcelo should have stopped the shot. Daniel Cabalar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeo Garmendia in the 93rd minute of play. Sixto Armentia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Daniel Cabalar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. TUCANES FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
