The supporters of ArteGreg FC booed when Universidad Caracas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caetano Espejo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th minute, Nils-Åke Termander made a precise shot to the right of Nastasio Fontanez. Universidad Caracas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 15th minute, Benino Bultes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jokin Lacalle in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nastasio Fontanez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Universidad Caracas getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Caetano Espejo hit a great ball. Gomez Sarra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fortun Mauriz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Universidad Caracas's Nastasio Fontanez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jokin Lacalle in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Nils-Åke Termander made a precise shot to the right of Nastasio Fontanez. Universidad Caracas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Nils-Åke Termander struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Nastasio Fontanez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ArteGreg FC. In the 34th minute, Nils-Åke Termander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 35 minutes into the game, Eguntsenti Moral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Universidad Caracas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ArteGreg FC the free kick. After 35 played minutes Universidad Caracas got a freekick which was hit by Eguntsenti Moral. In the 37th minute, Nils-Åke Termander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nastasio Fontanez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jokin Lacalle in the 38th minute of the match. Universidad Caracas's Nastasio Fontanez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jokin Lacalle in the 41st minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

In the 53rd minute Marquez Estevis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nastasio Fontanez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the game, Chago Calero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Fortun Mauriz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Gomez Sarra came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Universidad Caracas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gomez Sarra couldn't finish the play. In the 66th minute, ArteGreg FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gomez Sarra fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jokin Lacalle in the 70th minute of play forced Universidad Caracas's goalkeeper Nastasio Fontanez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd match minute, ArteGreg FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benino Bultes to maneuver through the defense. When Gomez Sarra came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Universidad Caracas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gomez Sarra couldn't finish the play. Chago Calero in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fortun Mauriz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 78th minute, Chago Calero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fortun Mauriz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Nastasio Fontanez came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by ArteGreg FC's Eustacio Lander. But to his dismay, Eustacio Lander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Nils-Åke Termander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Nastasio Fontanez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Jokin Lacalle ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nastasio Fontanez was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Chago Calero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the match, Universidad Caracas's goal looked a bit too open when Jokin Lacalle came free, but Nastasio Fontanez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ArteGreg FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Universidad Caracas for a fine match.
