Spectators: 8356 (Terracing: 6394, Seating: 1800, VIP seats: 162) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Roger Amestoy kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, La Salle S.C.'s Tiso Gomez got a free kick in the 4th minute. 8 minutes into the match, La Salle S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Elizardo Beyso came free, but Patricio Saz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roman Cotrofe kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Universidad de Oriente's Erasmo Iranzo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Iratzeder Betanzoss short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Valentin Oseguera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Iratzeder Betanzos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Valentin Oseguera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roger Amestoy in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patricio Saz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Furman Terrazos took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valentin Oseguera. Valentin Oseguera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Serapio Doro during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of La Salle S.C. booed when Universidad de Oriente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serapio Doro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iratzeder Betanzos succeeded in the game's 38th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. In the 43rd minute, Iratzeder Betanzos fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Valentin Oseguera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iratzeder Betanzos, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Llorienzo Garcidueñas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the match, Universidad de Oriente's goal looked a bit too open when Llorienzo Garcidueñas came free, but Valentin Oseguera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patricio Saz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Amestoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valentin Oseguera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iratzeder Betanzos in the 85th minute of the match. If Llorienzo Garcidueñas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iratzeder Betanzos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that La Salle S.C. were the better team. La Salle S.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
