Gara Chan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Murendi FC booed when Nationaler FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benino Achueta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Deunoro Cabañas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Beto Mangueira in the 14th minute. Ricardo Roelas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gara Chan having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pepe Gota in the 18th minute of play forced Murendi FC's goalkeeper Gara Chan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pepe Gota scored 0-2 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gara Chan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ricardo Roelas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gara Chan having to interfere. Gara Chan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benino Achueta in the 22nd minute of play. Deunoro Cabañas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Beto Mangueira in the 24th minute. Percy Coelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Deunoro Cabañas having to interfere. Ricardo Roelas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Pepe Gota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 44 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Murendi FC! The referee gave Nationaler FC a penalty, 45 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Pepe Gota, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Murendi FC's Gara Chan. 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ricardo Roelas to make the kick off. Ricardo Roelas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gara Chan having to interfere. Gara Chan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Roelas in the 55th minute of play. Nationaler FC's Artur Zahemski was substituted for Pepe Gota. Nationaler FC's Gonchan Domayca was substituted for Nicolas Raedo. Gara Chan made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Ricardo Roelas sent off a good shot on target. In the 69th minute, Belmiro Rebustillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Percy Coelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardo Roelas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Ricardo Roelas came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Nationaler FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Roelas couldn't finish the play. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Murendi FC's goalkeeper Gara Chan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Zahemski in the 85th minute of play forced Murendi FC's goalkeeper Gara Chan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute Benino Achueta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gara Chan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Murendi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Artur Zahemski came free, but Gara Chan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Bieito Ronquillo came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Murendi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bieito Ronquillo couldn't finish the play. After 92 played minutes Murendi FC got a freekick which was hit by Izotz Pi. Artur Zahemski kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Ricardo Roelas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match was over Nationaler FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Murendi FC throughout the match.
