Camerino Señor's late challenge caught a Central Madeirense FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camerino Señor helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Club Mercedes's Camerino Señor got a free kick in the 4th minute. Peyo Bustos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frederico Artealde in the 7th minute of the match. A collision led to Central Madeirense FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Indartsu Velandia hit a great ball. Frederico Artealde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peyo Bustos having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Central Madeirense FC's Rufio Torrescassana got a free kick in the 14th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Romo Pulido had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Peyo Bustos. Club Mercedes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Romo Pulido was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Mergildo Lazo kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. If Romo Pulido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 34 played minutes Central Madeirense FC got a freekick which was hit by Sabino Cantiello. A collision led to Club Mercedes getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Mon Alcedo hit a great ball. Teyo Heneses showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Veronica Elorza in the 40th minute of the match. Peyo Bustos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romo Pulido in the 45th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frederico Artealde made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Elodio Tabliega hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 53 minutes into the match, Central Madeirense FC's Sabino Cantiello broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Frederico Artealde recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Central Madeirense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Veronica Elorza came free, but Teyo Heneses reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Veronica Elorza notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Central Madeirense FC's Teyo Heneses. Teyo Heneses was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Romo Pulido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Club Mercedes's zone, Romo Pulido stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peyo Bustos came out of the goal and Romo Pulido tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Veronica Elorza took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teyo Heneses. Teyo Heneses dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 83rd match minute, Central Madeirense FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rufio Torrescassana to maneuver through the defense. Barea Curcio kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. When Elodio Tabliega fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Mercedes's protests and gave Elodio Tabliega a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Central Madeirense FC booed when Club Mercedes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elodio Tabliega didn't get a good kick on the ball. 89 minutes into the game, Rufio Torrescassana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Central Madeirense FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Mercedes the free kick. After a rather tough play, Central Madeirense FC's Rufio Torrescassana got a free kick in the 89th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Club Mercedes fans cheered their team off the field, for while Central Madeirense FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
