Llorienzo Lecanda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 10th minute of the match, Silvano Pastrana tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Atarratze Solis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 11th minute Corderun Perucho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Columbo Carbo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute, Silvano Pastrana made a precise shot to the right of Atarratze Solis. Petroleros de Cabimas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Petroleros de Cabimas's Papo Fortea got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Atarratze Solis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvano Pastrana in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd match minute, Jengibre FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentine Irastorza to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes into the match, Petroleros de Cabimas's goal looked a bit too open when Silvano Pastrana came free, but Atarratze Solis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jengibre FC's Columbo Carbo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Corderun Perucho in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd match minute, Jengibre FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvano Pastrana to maneuver through the defense. When the match had been going on for 36 minutes, Jengibre FC's Vergaray Larren got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Atarratze Solis. Llorienzo Lecanda might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Columbo Carbo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Llorienzo Lecanda ran back to his position shaking his head. Columbo Carbo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Llorienzo Lecanda in the 45th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Papo Fortea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Llorienzo Lecanda made the kick off in the second half. When Baudelio Botella fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jengibre FC's protests and gave Baudelio Botella a yellow card for diving instead. In the 54th minute, Baudelio Botella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Llorienzo Lecanda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Columbo Carbo was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Columbo Carbo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 79th minute, Xurxo Rasines hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Llorienzo Lecanda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Polo Alba scored 2-3 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Columbo Carbo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Atarratze Solis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Poz Urive, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Columbo Carbo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Llorienzo Lecanda's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Petroleros de Cabimas's Papo Fortea pulled a muscle in his leg after 96 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Petroleros de Cabimas's Liberto Soret was substituted for Papo Fortea. After 96 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Jengibre FC! In the 100th minute, Petroleros de Cabimas got a penalty, and Viviano Aguilar placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Petroleros de Cabimas played a much better game than Jengibre FC and deserved their victory. The Jengibre FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
