Maties Mestanza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Llorienzo Lecanda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Petroleros de Cabimas booed when Racing club Calabozo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xabel Natos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atarratze Solis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xabel Natos in the 9th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Napier Mañe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute Cosme Galo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maties Mestanza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Ruy Valdeboys hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Papo Fortea took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Maties Mestanza to make any attempt to save it. When Petroleros de Cabimas's Llorienzo Lecanda, in the 25th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Petroleros de Cabimas. Papo Fortea succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 27th playminute. Tiger Waaentz took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Atarratze Solis. Atarratze Solis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Maties Mestanza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Llorienzo Lecanda in the 37th minute of the match. Racing club Calabozo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Llorienzo Lecanda scored to the left of an out of position Maties Mestanza, making the score, 3-1. After a rather tough play, Petroleros de Cabimas's Fernan Serdio got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After 46 minutes, Polo Alba mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Petroleros de Cabimas and the Racing club Calabozo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Llorienzo Lecanda received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Maties Mestanza came out and tried to block the shot, but Llorienzo Lecanda slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 48th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.
Llorienzo Lecanda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maties Mestanza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. If Llorienzo Lecanda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Llorienzo Lecanda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Petroleros de Cabimas's Llorienzo Lecanda in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 71st minute, Corderun Perucho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Petroleros de Cabimas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Atarratze Solis came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Racing club Calabozo's Tiger Waaentz. But to his dismay, Tiger Waaentz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. In the 79thth minute of the game Llorienzo Lecanda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Racing club Calabozo's Maties Mestanza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 82nd minute, Papo Fortea made a precise shot to the right of Maties Mestanza. Racing club Calabozo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tiger Waaentz in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Atarratze Solis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Petroleros de Cabimas's Llorienzo Lecanda in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Racing club Calabozo's goalie prevented a goal. 92 minutes into the match, Racing club Calabozo's goal looked a bit too open when Llorienzo Lecanda came free, but Maties Mestanza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maties Mestanza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Llorienzo Lecanda in the 94th minute of the match. Llorienzo Lecanda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maties Mestanza having to interfere. Petroleros de Cabimas's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
