Wojciech Cielencki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Maties Mestanza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Racing club Calabozo's Maties Mestanza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Przemyslaw Gniewek in the 11th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Racing club Calabozo's goal looked a bit too open when Przemyslaw Gniewek came free, but Maties Mestanza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Racing club Calabozo's Maties Mestanza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wojciech Cielencki in the 26th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Racing club Calabozo's goal looked a bit too open when Wojciech Cielencki came free, but Maties Mestanza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, Wojciech Cielencki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lomas de Urdaneta FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Tiger Waaentz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Franco Mata made a huge save. Maties Mestanza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Przemyslaw Gniewek, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wojciech Cielencki was the one to do the kick off.
