When Danilo Sande came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the El Tanque Bolivariano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danilo Sande couldn't finish the play. After 65 minutes, Mendebal Iracheta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Corcado FC and the El Tanque Bolivariano players grew even worse after the yellow card. Desiderio Arellano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Corcado FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
