Escualidos FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Escualidos FC's Eder Casares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xove Zambranos in the 21st minute of play. The supporters of Deportivo Nirgua FC booed when Escualidos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petri Villajane didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 77 minutes, Eder Casares successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Eder Casares was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ikatz Mera. Eder Casares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xove Zambranos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Nirgua FC's zone, Petri Villajane stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Humberto Ben came out of the goal and Petri Villajane tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Escualidos FC had played much better football throughout.
